Private lessons are available for those riders who want to be part of the Academy Show Team or who want to purchase their own horse. Please see your individual class instructor for private lessons if you fit into that category.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND SCOUT GROUPS
Bring your boy/girl scout troop for a one-time outing to complete your badge requirements. Scouts will receive a one hour riding lesson, along with a barn session that will cover the topics of grooming, bridling, saddling, basic horse care and barn management skills. We will fulfill those requirements to complete all badge work! Weekend and weekdays are available, so do not hesitate to give us a call for your special outing! This offer is also applicable for boy scouts, 4-H groups, and school groups. We have a one hour riding lesson available for $52.00 per rider, or a special two-hour program that also includes a grooming session for $62.00 per rider.
Pony and Birthday Parties
If you are looking for pony parties, we can do those here for 16 tots for 2 hours with 2 ponies for $370.00; this includes an hour of pony rides, then to the barn for grooming, brushing and pony handling. Any additional children can be had at $12.00 per child above the number of 16, or add a third pony for $150.00 up to 24 children. We have a lovely party room then available for after the two hour tour. Or if you have larger children, we can do a two hour session that includes an hour of riding, an hour in the barn and our lovely party room for $65.00 per child with the access to the party room as well. Minimum of seven children. There is a 7 child minimum for the horse birthday party. A $100.00 deposit when booking is required.
2 Hour Personal Experience (One on One With Instructor)
If you would like to have a personal experience for a birthday, anniversary, special event, or "just because," we offer this wonderful experience. This features a one hour ride (mounting, lesson, dismounting) and one hour in the barn learning how to groom, brush, bridle and saddle. Also features a tour of the property as well. Cost is $350.00 for one person, $550.00 for two people. Appointments only, paid in advance.
